LiZa credits the hit '70's TV show, "The Partridge Family"
for her inspiration to sing and learn to play guitar in her early teens.
Early musical influences include troubadours like Jim Croce, James Taylor John Denver.  Later, her shift songs from folk icons with gut wrenching lyrics like Kasey Chambers,  Patty Griffin and Ellis Paul.   It wasn't until the '80's and 90's that LiZa began to turn her ear to the edgey acoustic rockers of the time like Edwin McCain Alanis Morrisette, Melissa Etheridege and the likes of The Indigo Girls.  This combination is what's paved the way for her performance today.  LiZa will make you laugh sing or cry as she mixes up the songs along with your emotions.

The Unprecedented Playlist is the best acoustic rock songs both remembered and forgotten including those from todays' best alternative artists.  Check out the playlist page for more details.
